Volvo had a busy and productive 2008 and 2009 looks set to be even busier for the Swedish manufacturer with new model releases and the launch of its new 'green' DRIVe initiative.
Volvo is planning a new S60 saloon and S40 hatchback with their respective releases scheduled for 2009/10. No details have been confirmed as of yet but Volvo fans and motoring enthusiasts in general will have a better picture of what to expect when the S60 concept car is revealed at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2009. Also new for 2009 as was unveiled at this year's Paris Motor Show, is Volvo's new DRIVe environmentally friendly range of models which will go on sale in 2009.
