An oldie but a goodie - the Toyota 1UZFE, 4-litre V8 - put to very good wholesome use burnin' rubber
Sit back, relax, and open your ears, because if you like a bit of V8-thunder, then this video is for you. Full marks to driver Lloyd Smith for his drifting skills, and full marks with a cherry on top for building such an aurally-addictive drift car. Never has a Toyota Corolla sounded so good. Never. Ever.
The 4-litre, 32-valve quad-cam Toyota 1UZFE V8 engine is usually found in 'old' Lexus 400s, putting out around 250bhp. Not anymore. Yes, it's still in a Toyota, but this tuned, just look at the individual intake trumpets on top, big-8 now thumps out over 400bhp. Perfect for a bit of tyre shredding and perfect for fans of the big sound. Let's get ready to rumble!
