750bhp makes a lot of smoke!

750bhp makes a lot of smoke!

This is one mean 'n' nasty Hyundai Genesis, smokin' and thrillin' all the way up some steeply curving mountain roads, somewhere in Brazil.

Behind the wheel of this 750bhp Genesis is Rhys Millen who clearly knows a thing or two about going sideways - doesn't 750bhp make a lot of smoke!

Now this Genesis has obviously been boosted to hell and back as I'm pretty sure that 750bhp isn't listed as a factory option. Indeed this car was built by RMR (Rhys Millen Racing) in the States and packs a serious spec.

Carbon fibre: front end, bonnet, front wings, wide rear wings, roof, doors and side skirts. Stitch welded body and full roll cage. APR Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) designed rear wing. Hollowed-out interior now with just one Sparco bucket seat, fly-off handbrake and a liberal sprinkling of dials. KW remote reservoir, 3-way adjustable coilover suspension. Hyundai 3.8-litre V6 engine, stroked to 4.1-litres and Turbonetics turbocharged. HKS sequential transmission. AEM engine management system. And breathe!

Add all that serious spec together, put a Pikes Peak specialist with a heavy right foot behind the wheel, and set them off to slaughter their tyres. All in the name of big-bhp-fun. Nice one Rhys, let the smiling start.
